Obstacles arise in life that may force students to direct their attention away from college. Cal State San Bernardino offers effective support services and faculty guidance that are necessary tools to help students reach their educational and career goals. Faculty, staff and current CSUSB students all help keep new students stay focused and find their way.

Cal State San Bernardino faculty and staff work to prepare students prior to their admission into the university. Agreements with community colleges, such as concurrent enrollment programs, afford transfer students the opportunity to attend the university while they are primarily enrolled at their community college. These programs encourage the student by motivating them to keep their eyes on their educational goals.

Assistance begins in the Office of Admissions and Student Recruitment, and then continues through the likes of Advising and Academic Services, EOP, faculty advisors, Financial Aid, the Learning Center, Office of the Registrar, SAIL, Student Leadership & Development and the Adult Re-entry/Women’s Resource Center. The list goes on and on. Cal State San Bernardino seeks to keep the doors open to students and help them survive the obstacles that are sure to come.
