Lower Division Transfer Students
Students are eligible for admission as a lower division transfer applicant when they:
- have earned less than 60 transferable semester or 90 transferable quarter units. California residents must have a transferable grade-point average of 2.0 (“C”) or better. (If the student is not a California resident, the transferable grade-point average must be 2.4 or better.);
- are eligible to enroll at the last institution he or she attended;
- meet the admissions requirements for a first-time freshman either from high school college preparatory courses or by meeting the requirements from a transfer institution;
- meet the eligibility index required as a freshman.
