International Costs of Attending
International students will need approximately $26,000 to cover the expenses for one year at California State University, San Bernardino. Tuition and state university fees are subject to change without notice.
Cal State San Bernardino is very affordable in comparison to other universities in the United States. In addition, the cost-of-living in San Bernardino is lower than in other California cities – especially those cities along the coast. As a public university, we offer limited scholarships to international students. Even without financial aid, CSUSB is often less expensive than universities that offer partial financial assistance.

*The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Tuition fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial tuition fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed tuition fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees.
