Cultural Events
The Robert V. Fullerton Art Museum at Cal State San Bernardino opened its doors to the public in 1996 with the mission to develop, preserve, research and display a permanent collection as well as to organize a variety of temporary exhibitions along with well-designed programs and events. The audience of the museum includes university students, faculty, staff, Inland Empire organized school groups, community members and visitors to the region.
For nearly 40 years, the art department has been one of our best-kept secrets. Work from our students has appeared in downtown San Bernardino to be enjoyed by the community at large. At certain times of the year, a visitor may have the pleasure of experiencing the student art pieces that have been displayed around the campus.
Theatre, music and live performance lovers will find that they do not have to travel far to find quality performances throughout the year. From Shakespeare to puppetry, there is something for audiences of all ages. Shows may be seen on campus and at the Sturges Theatre on “E” Street in San Bernardino.
