Project UPBEAT
Project University Preparation By Early Academic Training was designed to motivate and enhance student awareness about the importance of higher education. Its objective is to intervene at the 7th and 8th grade level with a program aimed at assisting students in setting academic goals, and encourage them to continue their education beyond high school. Project UPBEAT participants have been identified as having the potential to successfully complete a college preparatory program in high school so they may be eligible to enter into a college or university.
